SERVICE DESCRIPTION:
Coaching can be thought of as a skillful, purposeful conversation. (Latin conversatio, to turn with, to enter into together)
Genuine conversation is a careful process of listening and responding where each partner reveals themselves and what motivates and inspires them, and seeks to receive and appreciate what the other brings into the encounter. In a genuine conversation, both partners are awakened to broader perspectives, their ideas are challenged, clarified or affirmed, and their integrity is deepened. Where conversation is real and sustained, people become more aware of who they are, bonds with others are formed, and life enriched for all. (p.35)
