FOCUS:  School / College Boards

SERVICE DESCRIPTION:

To assist and advise Boards in the formation and implementation of a Board Development Plan.  Such a program would be based on a board self assessment.  Some outcomes of such an assessment could lead to:

  • clarification of roles and responsibilities
  • the identification of board operations that need improvement
  • build trust, respect and communication among members of the Board
  • enable members to work more effectively as part of a team


The consultant would collect information, analyse it and provide advice to the Board or facilitate a process where by the Board formulated its own development plan.

SERVICE STYLE:  Consultative and facilitative.

SERVICE DURATION:  As negotiated.
